Information for Wild Wonders of Europe

Wild Wonders of Europe is a large nature photography project, aiming to introduce wild places and animals living in Europe, to the European audience.

65 European nature photographers were selected to make images that illustrated the natural heritage of Europe in the products of the project: books, articles, exhibitions, calendars and multimedia shows. We were both part of the team of Wild Wonders of Europe photographers.

Erlends first assignment was in the Gran Paradiso National Park in Italy, photographing Chamois and Ibex in their rutting season. One year later, in 2009, he was assigned to photograph the lekking behaviour of black grouse and capercaillie in Bergslagen in Sweden.

In 2008, Orsolya was sent to Iceland to photograph landscapes and wildlife on the island.

In 2009, her second WWE mission took her to the wonderful Stockholm Archipelago in Sweden. During this assignment she focused on photographing landscapes in this truly magic coastal area.
