Naturfotograferna Arvika is a small group of Swedish photographers with 36 members who keep in regular contact throughout the year. They are all enthusiastic nature photographers who wish to share their passion with the local community. Therefore, they organize the Arvika Fotofestival every second year which is open to the general public. A lot of work and determination, help from willing volunteers and sponsors make this an amazing event. This year the festival was arranged on 6 February and it offered great presentations (including Anders Geidemark, Magnus Elander and Brutus Östling, to name but a few), many small exhibitions and lovely food!
We gave two presentations at the festival: Iceland and Wild Laponia, both containing multimedia shows that we produced together with our friend, Hungarian composer Csabi Kalotás.
Thank you Lennart Halvarsson, Hans Flyman, Patrik Petterson, Birger Höglund, Lars Johanson and all of the other members of the club, for working so hard to make this event such a success in a small place like Arvika!

Since 2005, we have traveled together as a team, constantly being on the move to explore and photograph landscapes and wildlife, with special interest in the Nordic countries. Our projects capture different parts of the "Cap of the North", in a never-ending search for surprising scenes and the magic light that is so characteristic of this region. It is the desire to get back to our roots — to live with nature that inspires us to create the images that we do.
We are members of The Photo Society, a group of contributing photographers for National Geographic Magazine.
